Wow, so because a fabric is ALSO produced in West Africa it's suddenly fake??? Really, Ms. Lake? Really? West African Ankara is ALSO 100% cotton, and it is ALSO produced using the same process so I do not see what is inferior or fake about it.

And if West Africa hadn't institutionalized Ankara, your parasitic little ass wouldn't be using it in your collection right now and claiming how "oh-so-innovative" you are.

I can understand not giving credit. Western designers steal design ideas from Africa everyday and very conveniently forget to give credit, but to actually put down West African textiles and label them inferior?

Dear Maya Lake, if you have never lived in West Africa or worn West African ankara for any extended period of time, and since you have been so greedy as to leech off and capitalize on a fabric that WEST AFRICANS made relevant and brought to global attention, please keep your incredibly vapid opinions about the quality of West African ankara to your bloody self. Last time I checked you were NOT an expert on Ankara. You only started making your boxing kitten nonsense AFTER the first wave of African designers that started using Ankara extensively.

Of course, because those designers are AFRICAN nobody pays them that much attention over here as they do you because you have the convenience of having been born an American. I wonder, if this same Ankara had been manufactured in America would you still have called it a 'knock-off'? Or maybe the term only applies when it is specifically manufactured by Africans? You retard.

Blogville KokoMansion: Episode 1

Welcome everyone to Blogville KokoMansion where only one of five hopefuls will realize her dream of becoming the Ultimate Kokolet!!

The Koko Mansion is now open and today the Kokolets arrived. Let the show begin. :D

Episode 1: The Kokolets Arrive

Here's Shona who is currently second only to Rita. Assuming she does indeed get a spot on Blogville Kokomansion, this will be her sim.

Hi everyone!! Voting is coming along nicely. Keep voting!! There is one day left to vote your favourite five Kokolets into the Blogville Koko Mansion!!

From the looks of the voting so far it looks like Rita and Shona are runaway favourites and unless a miracle happens I don't see how they won't be on the show so in order to get things moving quickly I went ahead and made a preliminary Rita.

Don't worry if by the end of voting she's been eliminated from the contestants I'll just delete her.

I personally am not satisfied with her nose and I think I might have to make her skin darker (based on the picture of her I saw on another website) but I'll let you guys be the judges.

Yes, you read right.

I can't stand the real Koko Mansion but I thought it would be lots of fun if we made our own here on Blogville.

Here's how it works:

Last month, I bought The Sims 3. Among other things, the Sims 3 is known for its amazing ability to replicate real life people. So here's what we'll do:

I shall make D'banj (and post him here), and the rest of you will choose five kokolets from the ones on the real show for me to make. (I will also post them here).

From then on D'banj will interact with all the kokolets in the Koko Mansion (which I will build in the Sims 3) and every couple of days I will post pictures and videos of what is going on inside the mansion.

Every week based on the performance of each kokolet you all get to vote one of them out of the Koko Mansion. I will get rid of them by kicking them out of the house (or killing them if necessary). Don't worry I promise it will be far more interesting and scandalous than the real Koko Mansion.

And so we continue until we have a winner!!!! :D The winner of Blogville KokoMansion will get her own Toyota Prius, 2 million Simoleans (Sim money) and a huge diamond ring!!
