All Settled In and Ads for Nigerian Bloggers
It's been a few weeks since I made the move to wordpress and I think I can say I'm past the honeymoon stage. Wordpress has its unique challenges and is no way near as user friendly as Blogger, but the pay off is the ability to completely customise your blog and make it work however you want. I think Sting was asking about this in her last post. Anyway, I've noticed that a lot of bloggers have started small businesses. Some people make jewelry, some people make bags, some other people have little fashion lines, etc., so I thought it would be great if bloggers could get some more publicity for their businesses! That said, one of the most effective ways to get publicity could be by reaping the benefits of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). By improving search engine optimization, small business owners can create robust, fast, and user-friendly websites that are ranked higher in search engines, bringing in more qualified potential customers to their websites and improving their conversion rates. Additionally, SEO promotes brand awareness for your business, as search engine users trust brands that appear on the first page of search engine results pages (SERPs) over those that do not. Small businesses can take advantage of SEO to build a strong web presence and bypass their competitors to gain new customers and expand. For that, budding entrepreneurs can approach professionals at Hooked Marketing or similar firms who have a good reputation and years of experience in this field. Anyway, since I personally wanted to help out with publicity, I've reserved a section of the ads on my blog just for Nigerian bloggers (well technically you could be from anywhere else). You can advertise your small business, a project you're working on, or even just your blog to get more followers/subscribers! You could even use the blog space to encourage more readers to look at your social platforms, like Instagram and Twitter, and get them to follow along with your small business journey. You could even use tools like nitreo to boost your social media accounts and make them more noticeable! That could be a good idea. However, make sure you're using a reliable growth service. One of my friends used Socialcaptain once and they were unhappy with the results. Not long after, Platypus Reviews revealed The truth about socialcaptain in their review. Remember to research before using anything. You can head online, read a bunch of reviews like the one mentioned above, and understand the experience of different brands with respect to social media boosters or growth companies. Once you have spent enough time researching, you might feel more comfortable buying organic Instagram followers that can help boost your social media presence.
Compared to the other ad slots, the spots reserved for bloggers/tiny business owners are super affordable {1500/$10 - 4000/$25} depending on position - for 10,000 impressions/hits.
