Sick in Hospital
Again. This time I have food poisoning. I just finished throwing my guts up and now I'm waiting for the doctor. The nurse has set up a needle for a drip on my arm so I guess I'm going to have an IV put in.
Earlier I was panicking because the abdominal pain was so severe and then it spread to my chest and my heart was thumping wildly and I couldn't breathe. Food poisoning is no joke. There is a very good reason that Panella Law Firm offer assistance to the victims of food poisoning. I began to feel a bit better after vomiting. Initially, I felt awful, as I have a slight phobia of being physically sick, and even had to look up how to induce vomiting to make myself feel better. But once whatever was upsetting my stomach was out of my system I felt better.
I fell asleep eating some Chinese food last night and this morning I figured it would be okay to continue eating it. I should have warmed it but I didn't. In retrospect that was a huge mistake. Now I have food poisoning. Having food poisoning is not fun at all. And what makes it worse is that my friend has recently told me that if you decide to leave food poisoning untreated for too long, it could eventually lead to death. So it's no wonder as to why I have been feeling the way I've been feeling. The same friend told me that I should consider getting in touch with some injury law attorneys in my area as they may be able to help me file a lawsuit against the place that provided me with the food. I hope that my symptoms start to subside soon as I don't think I've ever felt this rough. But with this being said, I guess out of all the ways I could have been sick, the idea of eating cold food in comparison to having rats running around and doing their business everywhere is not something I'd like to give too much thought into. I know someone who became very ill from having a rat infestation in their home. They had to look into someone like Kansas City Pest Control to get this under control. It was probably one of the worst stories I have ever heard. I cannot imagine what I would do if that was me.

Update:
Thanks so much everyone. I'm feeling much better. I've been discharged from the hospital and am now back in my dorm. The doctor gave me a bunch of prescriptions and said to rest and get plenty of fluids so that's what I'm doing at the mo.
